The 2010 Acura MDX is a seven-passenger, three-row luxury crossover vehicle. It puts a strong emphasis on style, utility, and comfort, while downplaying any off-road ability. According to the Acura MDX review this is the car you and your family not only need but will desperately fall in love with. You will love driving it and the kids won’t be embarrassed when you show up to pick them up from school in it.

At first glance the 2010 MDX doesn’t look much different from the 09′ model. The 2010 Acura MDX features bold new styling to highlight significant changes for 2010 underneath. The 2010 MDX rides on contemporary 19-inch wheels and boasts brighter taillights. Replacing the double up panel of the 2009 sculpt is a single, thick v-shaped shelter finished a black mesh vent. The 2010 MDX gets a new front end highlighted by a slimmer grille that looks more like a beak than a perforated shield. The lower bumper also gets thin lower vents that resemble the ones on Acura’s TL sedan, but design changes overall are very subtle.

The 2010 Acura MDX has standard 18×8-inch 5-spoke aluminum wheels finished in luxurious silver with a bright-machined face and a chromed Acura center cap. With the standard MDX, fitted to the 18-inch wheels are Bridgestone Dueler H/L 400 P255/55R18 104H M+S all-season tires that were specially developed by Bridgestone for the MDX are fitted to the 18-inch wheels.

The Acura MDX blends off-road capability with motorcar opulence to produce the luxury SUV. The Acura MDX uses a 3.7-liter V6 with 300 HP at 6,000 rpm and 275 lb-ft of torque at 5,000 rpm making it the most powerful engine ever for Acura – the 0-60 time of 8.1 seconds is remarkable for a vehicle this size. The 2010 MDX gets a new six-speed automatic transmission teamed with a revised version of its V6 engine. Acceleration improves slightly as do EPA ratings by 1 mpg. The gas mileage averages 16 mpg on the city and 21 mpg on the highway.

Standard features on base models include Bluetooth connectivity, satellite radio, a USB port and a dedicated iPod interface. Optional tech treats include a navigation system that offers real-time traffic and weather updates and a sound system with digital music storage capability. Standard equipment on all MDX trim levels now includes power tailgates, steering wheel-mounted shift paddles, a rear-view camera integrated into the rear-view mirror, and a new hill start function.

The 2010 Acura MDX price starts at $42,000 for a base model with the price increasing with the addition of the Sport and Entertainment Packages.
