New Camaros 2010. The Chevrolet Camaro is a car for a generation of fans, both young and old, to honor the Chevrolet Camaro’s heritage with a modern design. So this is the reason why many people have been waiting for years along this information. The wait is over and after a hiatus of seven years, the new Camaros is back in the dealer showrooms.

The new Camaros 2010 is a bold style two-door coupe model. Traditionalists call the Camaro a Pony Car, thusly name 1964 Ford Mustang, the car that has created this unique kind of American vehicles. It’s set to bow for the new Camaros coupe in two models – V6 and V8. The V6 cars are offered in LS and LT trim, and is called V8 SS. LT and SS models will be available with an RS appearance package that includes HID headlamps with integrated halo rings, a rear spoiler, specific tail-lamps and 20-inch wheels.

With a design that is very close to the original concept, the new Camaros acknowledges its heritage from the first generation Camaro, produced from 1967 to 1969. The two-door sports coupe features a classic proportions 112.3 inches (2852 mm) wheelbase. The total length of the Chevrolet Camaro is 190.4 inches (4836 mm), width and height is 75.5 inches (1918 mm) and 54.2 inches (1376 mm), respectively.

The new Camaros 2010 is equipped with the standard 18-inch, or optional 19-inch or 20-inch wheels (just for Camaro SS wheels), the relationship of the top of the tire and bottom of the fender is consistent on all models. All models also feature the classic “V” design motif in the nose, with a 2.5 inch (63.5 mm) in the power dome aluminum hood, reminiscent of high-performance Chevrolet Camaro models . In SS Camaros models, a simulated air intake is at the top of the front fascia and the lower part of air is greater.

Ten exterior colors are available for the new Camaros, and include Black, Victory Red, Yellow and Silver Ice Metallic Rally. Red Jewel Tintcoat is also available as an option. The color palette includes Cyber Gray Metallic, Aqua Blue Metallic, Inferno Orange Metallic, Imperial Blue Metallic and White.

Inside the new Camaros interior, a well-executed balance of heritage, modern design and attention to detail conveys the simplicity and sophistication with contemporary details in the group, switches, dials and lights. It has an ambient light package, for example, offers advanced LED light pipe, so the cabin a distinctive shine.

Deep, recessed gauges, located in square housings outlined in chrome, giving a nod to the classic Camaro interior. The instrument panel meters include both speed and engine rpm, with an information center located between the major driver gauges – and reading the features controlled by a stalk on the steering column. Optionally, the console-mounted package includes measuring the oil pressure, oil temperature, transmission fluid temperature and volts. The indicator is included in the package 2ß and 2LT models.

Base the new Camaros 2010 LS and LT editions use the 3.6 liter direct injection V-6 that was first used in the Cadillac CTS. It is a good engine for the production of a V-8 and 304 horsepower with 29 mpg EPA-rated highway fuel economy that rivals some four-cylinder cars. City mileage for the V-6 six-speed manual is 17 mpg and 18 mpg for the automatic six-speeds.

Engine V-8 Camero SS is equipped with two engines that correspond to the driver the choice of transmission. Both are 6.2 liters V-8 origin of the Corvette. The L99 V-8 goes to the six-speed automatic, and the benefits of variable valve timing and Active Fuel Management (which allows the engine to run on V-8 and V-4 mode). Camaro ss horsepower and torque is 400/410. The LS3 6.2 liters V-8 is equipped with the manual six-speed Tremec TR6060 moved. The LS3 makes 426 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. Engines are classified in the SS Camero at 16 mpg city and 24 mpg highway and 25.

As for handling, the new Camaros suspension immediately responds with little roll. Management is responsive and communicative. In almost all circumstances, we describe the handling of the Camaro completely neutral attitude, a characteristic that gives the car an agile feel exceptionally. While Ford has raised the performance of the 2010 Mustang and a trip using the live rear axle, the Camaro of the independent rear suspension units simply better, smoother, and less twitchiness.

As with every new car, the new Camaros 2010 was designed to be a safe vehicle. Six airbags are standard (four on the front side air bag curtain that extends to the second row). Antilock brakes, traction control and dynamic stability control are also standard. Because the Camaro is a completely new vehicle, has not yet been crash tested by the government or the IISH.

Where is a good place to get classic car insurance that will let me commute – not only use the car for shows? Most insurance that I’m looking into for classic cars are not willing to insure your car if you commute to work and school. They only want to insure cars that are used in shows, parades, etc. I will not drive my car every single day to work…maybe a few times during the week. I bought the car to enjoy it, not let it sit in the garage!- Pam
